Terms and conditions

When ordering items from Looop you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Availability of items in the mailorder catalogue
- All items in the catalogue are available for purchase. Items that are sold out will be removed immediately. So if an item disappears from the catalogue, that means it's (temporarily) sold out.
- If the item can be restocked it will reappear in the catalogue as soon as we have it.
- We do not display upcoming releases in the catalogue. This means that upcoming items cannot be preordered, you have to wait until they are released and we have them in stock.

Pricing and payment
- All prices in the catalogue are excluding shipping costs, based on NOK, converted to EUR regularly and subject to change without further notice.
- We accept payments via PayPal. A fee of 4% of the total of your order will be added to cover the cost of using PayPal for the transaction. Please remember to put your order number as the subject. If you don't pay after you have ordered something, we will send you a friendly reminder including a PayPal invoice for your order.
- Norwegian customers may also pay directly to our bank account. Please get in touch for details.
- Libraries and other institutions in Norway may order and have the items delivered before being invoiced.
- Delayed payment: We will hold your items for a maximum of 14 days before your order will be cancelled. If you pay later than 14 days after you ordered you cannot expect to receive very limited edition items, as we we will make them available to other customers.

Shipping and delivery
- Shipping is based on the total weight of your order. Shipping costs will be added when you proceed to check out. The total cost including shipping will be displayed before you are asked confirm your order.
- Please note that the postage prices in Norway are pretty insane, so heavy items like LPs will cost a lot to ship individually, specially to outside of Europe. We therefore recommend our foreign customers to order at least two LPs or one LP and additional items to "equalize" the postage costs.
- Heavy packages containing more than two LPs or items the equivalent weight will be sent via Norway Post's CarryOn service (abroad) or Norgespakke/Smartpost (Norway), which includes insurance of the contents and a Track & Trace ID.
- If your package only contains a few CDs and/or 7" singles and weighs very little, it may be sent as a standard letter, saving you some shipping costs. But please note that such shipments are not insured and cannot be traced if lost.
- Orders will generally be shipped within 5 days of payment being received. Please note that we are running this mailorder service in our spare time, so sometimes we may take longer to complete your order. Feel free to contact us if your order is urgent, and we'll help you as best we can.
- Approximate delivery times from shipment are 1-4 days to addresses in Norway and 3-17 days to addresses outside of Norway, depending on where you live.
- We use professional, high quality boxes, LP/7" mailers and CD/DVD envelopes when sending your order. All packing is expertly done by dedicated music lovers and record collectors.
- Please note that we are not responsible for lost shipments, delays, damages or additional costs (import tax, handling fees etc.) caused by third parties.

Returns policy
- All items are new and unplayed and guaranteed against defects.
- If you have a problem with playing an item, we will replace it, provided that the original item is returned to us first.
- You pay the shipment costs for the return, while we pay for shipping the replacement to you.
- If a faulty item cannot be replaced because it's no longer available, we will refund the cost of the item, excluding shipping.
